The highlight of our community is the largest heated salt water pool on the island! The condo grounds highlight tennis/pickleball courts, bocce ball, gym, shuffleboard and fishing pier. Unit is upgraded with smart tv, screened in terrace complete with a quiet, peaceful view of the lagoon that flows through the center of the complex.

Anna Maria Island has over seven miles of beaches to explore, but finding the perfect beach for you is important for having the ultimate island experience. Both of Dans Florida Condos are located directly across the street from the beach. We offer two deeded access points to the Private Beaches for your family’s enjoyment. You’ll find the north access point the safest for crossing as there is a traffic signaled crosswalk for your convenience.
If you are looking to socialize a bit more, you are a free trolley ride away from two of Anna Maria Island’s most popular beaches.
Dans Florida Condos are nested centrally, within the award winning Runaway Bay Complex. Without a doubt, one of the gems of our property is our Pool. The pool is the largest heated/salt water pool on the entire island. Enjoy sun lounging chairs, tables with umbrellas, and security controlled entry to ensure only those registered at the complex are sunbathing in your company. Both of my units are located directly around the corner from the pool, so making a trip to refresh a cold beverage is easy peasy!
Unlike similar sunset celebrations in Florida tourist meccas such as Miami, Naples, or Key West, there are no rowdy crowds, wall-to-wall bars or panhandlers. Also absent on Anna Maria are high-rise condos and chain hotels. You’ll have to drive off-island for a McDonald’s or Starbucks fix. Instead you’ll find quaint beachside resturants often run by locals and family members who have run their establishments from one family generation to the next. There is also a zoning limit of 3 stories on building upward, so goodbye skyscraper lined beaches!
Anna Maria Island is home to hundreds of artists, many of whom show their work in local art galleries or take classes on the island. During the winter/spring season, many gallery walks, outdoor art festivals and juried art shows are offered. … Anna Maria Island artists support each other and love sharing their talents with visitors from the globe that visit their piece of heaven.
BY TROLLEY
There is a free Trolley service on Anna Maria Island, and Dans Florida Condos has a trolley stop right at our entrance. It is super convenient to travel the island from one end to the other from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Go touring, pick up your groceries or go out to dinner and have a drink.
BY MONKEY SHUTTLE
The Monkey Bus is just on of the modes of transportation this fun company has. You’ll see their golf carts zipping around the island as well. Whether you need a quick ride somewhere on the island, or need golf cart or bus transportation for an event, like a wedding, or to an event, like a baseball or hockey game, this is who can help.
BY GOLF CART
Anna Maria Island is very Golf Cart Friendly. It’s a fun way to get around in our warm climate. There are several businesses that rent Golf Carts by the day or by the week. They all deliver to your rental and pickup too.
BY FOOT
Dans Florida Condos are situated just north of Historic Bridge Street. Here you will find plenty of options for resturants, miniature golf, water sports, shopping, and pubs with live music. Take a stroll down Gulf Drive or walk the beach to this popular destination. Make sure to check out some of the beachside resturants and tiki bars on the way!

🎾 Tennis & pickleball courts are open and serving up fun, and our sunny Patio Area is perfect for relaxing, socializing, or enjoying your morning coffee with a breeze.
🚧 A quick heads-up: our pool, gym, and fishing pier are temporarily closed as they undergo their final updates. The pool is on track for a grand re-opening in Sept/Oct 2025, and it’s going to be better than ever—think upgraded equipment, a fresh look, and more comfort.
🔨 You may hear occasional daytime noise as a few ground-floor units complete their renovations, but guests are still soaking in the sunshine and raving about their peaceful, beach-filled stays.

Muy lindo departamento, muy bien equipado, vajilla impecable, carrito para la playa muy completo con sillas y gazebo incluido. Igual a las fotos, Daniel siempre bien predispuesto, respondió muy rápido cuando le hacíamos alguna pregunta. Recomiendo 100% este lugar. The condo was great. AMI is still recovering a bit from the last couple of hurricanes, but the island is busy and pretty much back to its normal operating state. Most of the first floor units at the complex are still under "reconstruction" so there were very few people at the complex which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. The construction activity took place while we were at the beach. <br/>The condo itself is beautiful - very open and bright and EXTREMELY well-stocked. Pretty much anything you can think of to bring - it was already there. The storage closet had plenty of chairs, a canopy to sit under at the beach, coolers, and a great beach wagon. It even had a couple of tennis racquets. <br/>Inside there was everything you need in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom and plenty of blankets and towels (even a blow up air mattress). <br/>Dan was very communicative - proactive and answered questions quickly. Overall a great experience and we would be happy to book with him again! A fantastic stay on the most beautiful island, steps to a fantastic beach! Great location, excellent host, wonderful amenities for use at the beach. I would recommend this rental.
